My name is Parker, my pronouns are they/them, and I’m a queer autistic tarot reader based in Margate.

I started teaching myself tarot around 2018 as part of my journey leaving the Free Presbyterian church in which I was raised. Since then, I’ve read at markets and events around Thanet, trained with the Tarot Association of the British Isles, worked at a psychic hotline, and deepened my understanding of tarot with independent study and lived experience.

My approach to tarot has changed a lot over the years. When I first started reading, I absolutely disregarded the idea of predictions and instead approached the cards strictly as a self-help tool. These days, although I wouldn’t call myself a predictive reader, I’m a lot more open to where a reading takes me. I’m still not going to tell you if your ex is thinking about you, or that there are windfalls of money coming your way – we all have free will, which is why I don’t believe tarot can ever be totally accurate with its predictions. But despite saying all of that, I do believe tarot has power, and I’ve seen first-hand how effective, potent, and emotive tarot readings can be, which is why I love offering readings to people.
